The new 2016 Nissan Titan has been unveiled at the recent Detroit Auto Show. This Japanese fullsize pickup is completely redesigned and it will be offered in different configurations with a variety of engines available, including Cummins Diesel and Nissan gasoline engines.
2016 Nissan Titan Diesel
Specifically, at Detroit Auto Show, the manufacturer has presented XD Crew cabin trim. Under the bonnet of 2016 Nissan Titan XD is Cummins turbo diesel V8 engine which generates 310 horsepower and 555 lb-ft. of torque. This engine is paired with AISIN six speed automatic transmission which sends all this power to the rear wheels, while four wheel system is available too. According to the manufacturer, the engine will provide maximum durability and power in a light package. And how did they manage this? Well, cylinder blocks are built from compact graphite iron, which is stronger and lighter than regular one. If you like loud and roaring engines than this one might not be for you because Nissan promises quiet performance thanks to CGI cylinder block and dual overhead camshafts. Advanced Bosch ceramic glow plugs enable the engine to start in less than two seconds at temperatures as low as -25F upward. And that’s not all – Nissan promises that these plugs will last as long as the lifetime of the engine, without any maintenance.
Estimated Titan’s top speed is 125 mph while for 0-60 it will need around 7 seconds.
For 2016 Nissan Titan, the manufacturer has designed new reinforced chassis and frame, based on proven Nissan Commercial Vehicle chassis. For stopping all this power, the Titan will use 14 inch ventilated, hydraulic brakes.
During testing, 2016 Titan towed weight of 5 tons without any problems.
2016 Nissan Titan Interior, Colors and Exterior

The 2016 Nissan Titan interior is made with high quality materials and it offers a lot of space.
